Louisville Slugger Field offers countless food booths with all the baseball game essentials, such as cotton candy, hot dogs, ice cream and more. There is a shop and plenty to see for everyone who may be bored by the actual game. Baseball is certainly a summer sport, and Labor Day weekend should be spent making the most of the last official summer days.

Old Louisville Live is a new performance series from the Old Louisville Neighborhood Council, and it is kicking off Labor Day weekend with this exceptional group of string, brass and woodwind musicians. Being a classical music fan is not required; the setting of Louisville’s lovely Central Park is a perfect place to enjoy the weather and nature. There will also be food and drinks for purchase at the event.
