Class of 2016 bids farewell

Manual’s Class of 2016 officially graduated on May 26 at the conclusion of a ceremony at Freedom Hall.

Christella Phillipe (Class 0f 2016) graduated from the YPAS Magnet.

“I’m really excited but also really sad because I won’t get to see my friends again, I’m just really excited to go to college and start new,” Phillipe said. “I love [my class] it’s been fun and I know we are all going to do really cool things because we are all really cool kids, good luck everybody.”

Phillipe will be majoring in music education at Berea College.

Will Kuhn (Class of 2016) graduated from the J&C magnet.

“I’m excited for everything that is to come in the future. I was really sad during the senior walk, that was emotional. Now I’m ready to get through the ceremony and move on,” Kuhn said. “This is the best class that’s ever gone to Manual. Hands down. If you are lucky enough to go to Manual just try to take advantage of it.”

Kuhn will study marine biology at Auburn University beginning in the fall.
