Students perform in annual Black History Month presentation

Ms. Nicole Finley (English) organized Manual’s annual Black History Month program in the YPAS auditorium last Wednesday, Feb. 3. The show, held during second block, featured poems and songs performed by Manual students, including Ricky Reynolds (11, YPAS), Tyler Carnes (10, YPAS), Sarah Sturgeon (12, YPAS) and Mackenzie Berry (12, HSU).

    Sarah Sturgeon sang the National Anthem for Black History month; however, I didn’t see her name mentioned or a picture.

      I believe our photographer arrived after Sarah performed, so we were unfortunately unable to grab a picture. We have amended the article to add Sarah’s name to the abridged list of performers, and we sincerely apologize for the omission!
