Lynn’s Paradise Cafe offers annual egg decorating contest

On March 26, 2012, Lynn’s Paradise Cafe started collecting customers’ eggs for Lynn’s Annual Egg Decorating Contest at 984 Barret Avenue. The eggs are due by April 8th, and guests will vote for their favorite decorated egg on Easter. The winner will recieve $500.

“I love Lynn’s Paradise Cafe. Their chocolate chip pancakes are great, but the owner always has fun activites going on too,” said Samantha Klein (10). “My little sister, Annebelle, usually takes part in the contests.”

“I like finding ways to try and earn money and I am pretty good at decorating Easter eggs,”  the younger Klein, an 8th grader at Noe Middle School. “It is a really easy activity to do, and my family already decorates eggs for Easter anyways.”

With all the yearly events going on, such as the Egg Decorating Contest, Lynn’s Paradise Cafe draws customers with its unique food.

“I really like their homemade granola bar sprinkled with cinnamon,” said Kristen Hale (11). “Everything made at Lynn’s is different then any other food I have had. She puts her own spin on it.” 

Lynn’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lynn’s breakfast menu  with choices from omelets and scrambles to homeade burritoes and french toast. Lynn’s also serves fried catfish and walnut-crusted chicken for lunch and dinner, along with several sandwiches. They also offer vegetarian meals. Each meal comes with two sides and breakfast is served all day long.

Lynn’s Paradise Cafe is open on Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
