Louisville-based hip-hop music group Skyscraper Stereo, recently signed by Little Heart Records, is now gaining recognition outside Louisville. The group is promoting their newest record, Homebois In Outerspace, on tour in places outside of Louisville.

“We want to put our city on the map. Louisville could be a hip-hop staple,” group member Landry Dunn said.

Skyscraper Stereo, which started playing together in 2006, consists of Dunn, Daniel Guess, Jawon Dunn, and Yao Hong.

Many Manual students enjoyed their music. “I heard them at ear X-tacy one night and they were really good. I really want to go to another one of their shows,” Callie Kidwell (10) said.

“Personally, I think their music is very catchy and has a good beat to it. It makes me curious to hear more of their music,” Natalie St. Clair (10) said.

Skyscraper Stereo is available on iTunes and can be followed on Facebook.
