Baseball team loses to Henry Clay

The baseball team was defeated 8-3 by Henry Clay High School on Friday, May 20, making their overall season record 10-19.

“We just came out dead and didn’t have much energy,” said senior Trey Litsey.

Despite the loss, several players had personally performed well. Freshman Sam Coryell made his varsity debut with a hit up the middle and a diving catch in the outfield. Junior Josh Bynum was 3-for-3 at the plate, and was the only starter left in the game at the end, after coach Josh Wolff pulled the remaining starters.
