Manual lacrosse seasons cut short

Manual boy’s lacrosse team lost in the second round of the playoffs last night to Ballard High School 6-9 ending the Crimson’s season. The lacrosse team had defeated Eastern High School in the first round to advance. The loss to Ballard ended the team’s hopes of returning to the Division II championship game, a game which the Crimsons lost last year to Christian Academy of Louisville.

Manual girl’s lacrosse lost in the quarterfinals of their state tournament to Collegiate 13-4. Collegiate went on to lose to eventual finalist Kentucky Country Day 9-8 in the next round.
