Baseball defeats Collins High

The baseball team defeated Martha Layne Collins High School 6-4 on Tuesday, May 17. The Crimsons took an early lead, scoring two runs in the first inning, one in the second, and one in the third. Senior pitcher Stephen Surrell pitched the first four innings before Senior Craig Pearcy came in to pitch the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings. Pearcy threw three strikeouts in the fifth inning, three in the sixth, and two in the seventh to finish his game with eight strikeouts pitched in three innings.
