FRIDAY

This weekend the premiere of the play ‘Bronte’ by Polly Teale will be showing at The Rudyard Kipling on 422 West Oak Street at 7:30 P.M. The play is about the Bronte sisters who, despite the era they lived in, made literature that is still read today. To make reservations call 502-636-1311. It is $15.00 general admission.

SATURDAY

The Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest is having a Winter Stories and Sky Watch Night where participants can learn how to use telescopes, hear stories about the stars, and go on a lunar lighted moon walk. The event takes place at 6:00 P.M and the cost is $12.00. Only severe weather can cancel the event. To check and see if the event is cancelled call 502-955-8512 the day of the program.

The Frazier International History Museum is having a historical ball from 7 P.M to 10 P.M. Guests who wish to learn the dances before-hand can attend the dance practice from 2-3 P.M. the day of the dance. At the dance there will be desserts available to guests. The cost is $20.00 for adults, $10.00 for kids 14 and under. To order tickets call 502-753-5663.

SUNDAY

The Louisville Orchestra Book Fair is being held at the Barnes & Noble in the Summit starting at 10 A.M. It is free to attend.

Actors Theatre of Louisville is hosting the 17th annual African American Art Exhibition which celebrates black culture and history through art. The showing will run from 1-10 P.M. and it is free.
