Lady Crimsons Defeat Toledo

Manual’s Lady Crimsons basketball team beat Toledo Start 61-53 at the Classic in the Country tournament in Berlin, Ohio on Sunday January 16.

Mechael Guess (12) and Destony Curry (10) scored 11 points apiece for the 13-4 record holding Crimsons. Jaymie Jackson scored 18 points and Azia Bishop, a UK signee, had 21 points and 8 rebounds for the 9-1 Toledo Start.

Starting guard April Wilson (11) (9 points, 8 steals) said, “(Winning) felt amazing. It showed how far we’ve come since last season and even since the beginning of this season.”
